Mundane Monday Challenge #8

Sunflowers and Sunset

Sunflowers and Sunset

Here goes my Entry number Eight for Mundane Monday Challenge. This event which is hosted by Trablogger requires us to capture beauty in almost anything and upload the photograph within the week.

I love the play of light and shadows in this picture, especially when its created by sun nearing sunset. Do tell me what you like the most about it and do not forget the caption 🙂 I love to see how creative you can get!

Umm.. I am trying.. but it brings to mind a Talat song… and a line in it.. “Jab gham ka andhera ghir aaye, samjho ke savera door nahin…” etc.. Of course, I expect the caption must be necessarily in English… ok, pick a line from this poem 🙂 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lead,_Kindly_Light
Nice pic… I too like the shade and light… the way it appears to be gloomy but also promises light outside. Good one 🙂

I really like that line. It suits too well!
And the caption doesn’t need to be necessarily in English.. This Hindi version is great too.
Thanks for a lovely comment. I’m glad you like the picture.

    Blooms of Dusk..

Nice capture.. And if you dint say so, it looks like a dawn rather.. So you could also have ‘Blooming Buds’.. 😉

Ahhh… There’s nothing quite like South Asian sunshine through a half-drawn curtain. 🙂 Looking at this brought back memories of those midday naps during long summers in Pakistan 😀 ❤

      Indeed, there isn’t!
And yes, it was the time people usually nap 😉
I’m glad the picture brought back some happy memories. Thanks a lot for a wonderful comment. I always love to know what the pictures mean to my viewers. 😀

Perfect imagery, Hargun 🙂 I love the way sunflowers are blossoming on the bed sheet by the sun rays outside 😉

    I love that too!
And guess what, that happened just by chance. My intent was to capture the effect of sunlight , but as I was posting it yesterday, I saw how great the sunflowers looked in the shot 😉

I like the light and shadow in the picture. And the contrast between Sunflower and Sunset.

“summer Solitude”- the rays of light filtering in plus the floral bed sheet, reminds me of summer. And the darkness of the room fits solitude. ☺

Gham e sham … Ek lamba intezaar agle subhah ki,
Vase bhi maut se phle gham se chutkara kab milta hain, kuch choti ummeede Jo is kal ko tod tod kar lambho mein jeena sikhati hain..
    This is what I felt…
