Hi! Welcome to this photography series.

I love to explore beauty in my surroundings and click some shots close to nature, close to me. There is beauty in everything, all we need to do is look. Following this outlook, I bring to you some pictures purely raw and aesthetic in this series.

Hi there!

Welcome back to TML, a series where I share the world in photographs-some stories nature shares with us everyday, all we need to do is look.

As I type this post, I hear a sudden rumbling sound and my attention diverts from the laptop screen to the window beside me. The blazing hot sunrays are being replaced by a dimmer sunlight, caused by the clouds overshadowing the sun. The weather has been quite trecherous these past days, you would never know when it would start to rain.

And when you thought the rain had stopped and took a chance venturing out, a sudden downpour would drench you. When it was raining heavily in the morning and you thought you got a great reason to go a bit late to office, you would come to know that it was raining only in your area! So there were no flooded roads, no water to drench you and give you reason to stay back after all.

Freezing a foto

Hi!

This is Incredible Blogger Marathon Challenge #02 called ‘Freeze a foto’ and I’m game!

For this challenge, I need to pick up a photograph and describe the memories associated with it. The length of the description can be wisely decided. (I simply love this line- no more word limits, just my wise decisions! 😈)

Okay, Freezing a photograph…well, that should be easy, the only challenge here is to zero in on a photograph!

After a lot of searching, shortlisting, deciding, again rejecting and then finally settling on one (phew!), I present the following ‘foto’ and memories of it in my own hand:

Hope that took you back to your own memories lane…

So, the task is done and here goes the completion logo. Yay!

A photograph has been freezed!

Hi there!
Welcome to TML, a series where I share my encounters with nature and its various creations- animate or inanimate through photographs.

This time it were birds, lots of them. Racing. And It was pretty tough to catch them in motion!
But it was pretty cool to witness the event and cover it too 😜

There were many participants, and all looked the same. They started together, with an aim to circle this  building.

Hello!
Welcome to TML- a series where I bring forth how I see the world, all captured in photographs. Sometimes these shots behold memories attached to them and at other times, many observations I made. They can also be of the time I chanced upon latent beauty in an ordinary overlooked object. Yet, They will always be a part of me, and I’ll be right there in the backdrop, showing you the world through my lens.

Here goes the picture for the week:

Walking along blissful paths

image

In the lap of nature

These pictures were taken last year at Mussoorie, Uttrakhand. This stretch comes on the way to company garden and if you are going by foot or on a rickshaw, there are high chances you will enjoy this serenity.

For me, This scene was almost like a one out of stories I had read of hills and their beauty – a perfect scenery, lined with trees, resonating with chirping of birds and gushes of exhilarating pure hill air. It was a refreshing experience to view it from close quarters, especially when one is accustomed to seeing traffic and pollution each day. This stretch was short but the one of best I have ever come across!

Hope you liked the click. Have a great week ahead!

Come, accompany me on this quest to explore and click some shots close to nature, close to me; not from those exotic locations but from my unostentatious surroundings. In real!

This time, I found something more creepy than beautiful(well, it all depends upon your perception) right inside my house. The sunlight streaming in from the window could give one goosebumps, especially if clicked appropriately 😉

I hope you liked the click. Have a great week!

This picture was clicked as I stood marveling at the sight from a high rise building in Delhi. Apart from the view, it was interesting to see everyone wait patiently at the traffic lights below, even when there was no traffic coming from the opposite ends. The discipline might have been a result of cameras installed at each signal and the fear of a ‘challan’ at breaking the rules, which could have made them avoid jumping the red light.Whatever it might be, it was good to see law abiding citizens.

I hope you liked the shot of the week!

PS: Hey, did you see what I just noticed? I have inadvertently caught an offender there. Maybe some people can never wait for a light to turn green!

Hi there! Welcome to my quest to explore beauty in the overlooked and share them with you.
The picture for the week was clicked while we waited at a railway crossing for a goods train to pass and make way for all of the many vehicles standing in anticipation of its quick passage. Our car was parked beneath a tree and that’s the view from the spot. Here it goes:

image

The wait@railway crossing

A school van stood near us and it was a sight to see so many tiny tots, brimming with energy, their heads and hands poking out of the windows and waiving goodbye to the train. It brought back memories of my own school days and how we all used to chorus goodbye in the same manner until the train was out of sight.
Soon, the loud whistle of the train turned into a far cry, bringing me out of my reverie while the mad rush to cross the crowded crossing ushered in. It was time to get into action!

Well, that was just another day and now its time to waive for us adults to waive goodbye to the blissful Sunday and say ‘Welcome back Monday’ in a few hours. Have a great week ahead!
