Through my Lens-22

Hi there!
Welcome to my quest to explore beauty in my unostentatious surrounding and delight you with some pictures purely raw and aesthetic.

The story behind this click goes like this:
It was a bright sunny morning and I happened to be sitting right under this bright sun. I was in a park, under a tent with a gathering of about 150 people. The heavily decorated enclosure they had made in that park was meant to provide some shade, but because of it being closed from the sides, it was heating up inside theΒ tent. The overhead Sun, peeking from the pink cloth the tent was made of, was not helping either.

There was a religious congregation going on and lately, the speaker had swayed away from the original topic. I heard him beat around the bush for sometime until my attention turned to the people beside me. A kid on my left was wailing in his mothers lap, asking when would he get to eat Langar(food served after a religious congregation). And on my right, two little girls were making an ‘entrance’ with their mothers’ handbags dandling on their shoulders. They were really cute little girls, all dolled up with their flowing hair and the traditional dresses. But they looked even more cute donating, read-keeping, their mothers handbags( I can bet those were filled with a lot of money and of course, the smart phones)in the donation box. I looked in the gathering, eager to see the mothers’ faces. I did not wait to see how those ladies got their handbags back but yes, I saw the girls giving them back to their mommies, who kept them safely with themselves, a little later. In the meanwhile, I had taken a small break, aiming to get back when the speaker resumed singing the hymns. I had grabbed my phone and gone out of the tent.
Outside was the Boundary wall of the park, lined with flowery plants. There were, surprisingly, many people outside, chatting or just standing there, drinking water. Many were looking at the stalls an NGO had put up. I knew what I had to do, so I started with clicking the flowers growing there. Maybe the people were watching this girl clicking pictures of those ordinary flowers.. Or maybe they were not. But I did not mind the scores of people standing around me and focussed on the photography instead.

And here is the result. I hope you liked the shot, because if you do, help me give the picture a caption.Β  πŸ™‚

PS: Just so you know, the picture announcing arrival of Summers posted last week happened to be of the bright Sun mentioned above πŸ˜‰
