Through my lens-21

Hi there!
Welcome to my quest to explore beauty in my unostentatious surrounding and delight you with some pictures purely raw and aesthetic.

Here goes the picture of the week, announcing Summer’s here!

image

Say Hello to summer!

Gone are the wintery days, when basking in the sunlight was actually soothing and sun did not make one sweat, for a change. We no longer wait for sun to rise and fill our hearts with joy. Instead, the ceiling fans were lulled out of their winter slumber officially in my office this week and nobody went over to switch them off too.
It will be extremely hot in few more days, or a month maybe.Β And I can understand your plight if you are among the ones who have to travel in the sun on scooters daily.Till then, enjoy these few pleasant days, until the time comes to beat the real Summer heat again!(yes, June and July are the real bummers)

Have a great weekend!

Ok… Hello Summer!!! Ah, the sun. Here in southern Canada, west coast (or is that Wet Coast!) we get much rain, snow in higher elevations (I see fresh snow in the mountains this morning), and never enough sun. We should trade: you get some of our clouds and rain, and you give us some of your sun! πŸ™‚ I love the sun, never enough, never too much. Sometimes I think how wonderful it would be to exist as a “Fremen” on the planet Arrakis (Dune). “Never a drop of rain on Arrakis” is the saying there. (referring of course to the Sci-fi series of books by Frank Herbert). You probably wouldn’t care for Arrakis. πŸ™‚

Hehe.. I wish we could trade. But that’s how it is. If I got your snow and winter, I would probably love it for sometime but then I would like to get back to my old surrounding. And you don’t know how I love snow and the snow fights. And a if you got our sun, you’ll probably get fed up of the extreme summers we have here in some time. :p
And I didn’t know about Arrakis. But thanks for letting me know about the books and the saying. πŸ™‚

I meant to add, beautiful, beautiful image. I like how the leaves take on a swirl effect from the sun passing through. You have a great eye!

Haha, tell me about it! It’s March and here the temperature is 45 degrees already. I wonder how the summer would be.
P.s I love the picture appears as if you took it, facing up with the sun rays and tree leaves on view

About the Summer , 45 degrees is too much for March! Its 17Β°|31Β°C nights and days respectively, here today. But its going to turn nasty in sometime 😦 And Sunday’s are always the hottest.

Also, I’m glad you liked the picture Ameena. Thanks a lot πŸ™‚

I can’t say that I love sun! Well, I mean, not now! Just hope that it gives it a rest and calls it a day! Too hot for my tastes! Loved the photograph! The blazing sun trying to burn its way through the branches of the tree! A true symbolic of upcoming burning summer days! Phew!

      Happy summers to you too!
I wonder if we could give that ‘Chota AC’ talc to Sun to aid cooling down :p
Though I’m not sure if similar effects on humans have been proved yet…
