Mundane Monday Challenge #10

Here comes week #10 of the Mundane Monday Challenge hosted by PhoTrablogger. This photography challenge requires us to capture beauty in almost anything post it each week.  Apart from it, this snapshot is also submitted for The Daily Post Photo Challenge- ‘Creepy‘.

Continuing with the bird theme, here is my entry with a tinge of supernatural element to it. flew away

Oh no, do not fret; it was just because of dark thundering clouds with which the sky was overcast. 😉 The story starts with this picture, where some pigeons greeted me with their feet. Let’s continue, picking up from there.

Now, as they flew away in terror; they all landed on a nearby house’s roof. It was a sight, with nearly a dozen of them suddenly fleeing with noisy and furious fluttering of the wings. Some were really fast to take flight, while others turned tail after a few seconds. Though the previous picture captures only two of them, there many more sitting on this wide shade, who joined their peers resting nearby.

Now that you know the story, delight me your thoughts on the pictures and suggest a caption if you like!

Have a Happy week ahead 🙂

You again caught the pigeon in flight! The clouds and tones make it looks great 🙂

Yes, the Vampire Bat misses too much of the world – it is part of his fate 🙂

Yeah, and just to let you know, I’m not receiving notifications of your replies to my comments. 😦

Did I tell you I didn’t receive notification of your initial comment on my post ? 😉
But its not just you, half of them are not notified. I have to manually open the post and check.
Its some bug in the app, I guess. Two more bloggers complained of the same issue to me.
But I appreciate the fact that you stopped by to check on it. Thanks 🙂

And, this comment of yours is no exception. Plus you have set threaded comments count to minimum I guess so in effect I could not reply to your last comment considering the fact that I don’t receive notification either which otherwise facilitate to reply despite of threaded comment count. I would suggest to set threaded comments count to maximum which is helpful in long conversations on posts and yeah, do something with your app Hargun. I mean, it is making us stalk your comment section. 😛 On separate note, glad to know that you too are taking equal efforts to keep things going. 😉 Cheers for that. 😀

He he.. Same goes for this one, even if it wasn’t in the thread 😉 Also, you could have replied above by clicking ‘reply’ manually on my comment ;p
As to the thread count issue, I didn’t know about such a setting. But would check if something’s wrong over there.
    Also, I wouldn’t mind that stalking :p
There’s nothing to hide anyway, but yes I realise the inconvenience it causes. Moreover,My app crashes too often as well. Have you experience anything like that?

Thanks for that useful tip and Good night !

No dear, it doesn’t work that way. Reply option goes off when you hit the maximum limit set for threaded comments, so one has to put new comment or reply directly from notification received. Yes, you can find that here, settings->discussion-> Enable threaded (nested) comments # levels deep. Hope this helps. And, yes I would not mind that stalking too but see notifications make stalking easier. ;P Talking about my experience with app, I don’t use it often so can’t say but yes to receive notifications, its great. Good night! 🙂

Dont reply to the doubt. I read the previous comment carefully and saw that was already answered. :p

I did find just that and was going to ask you if this was what you were talking about. But I have a doubt here: if this means that after the third comment in line(assuming my setting is ‘3’) one cannot comment further in that thread, how come I have comments ranging up to five at least in the same thread on another post?
I did not touch this particular setting for any post of mine. Furthermore, this issue has surfaced only a month or two back . 😦

No worries, make it 10 straight away. I don’t know how that happened with individual posts but keeping it max would facilitate to grow threaded comments 10 levels deep. And, I just received comment notifications for the first time on this post. Try rebooting the app once, may be that would fix the issues.
