Good morning!

I wish it to you and I’m sure you wished it to someone today or the other day.. But have you ever felt  and wanted the morning  to be really as good?

Have you ever pondered over various thoughts that cross your mind when you get up in the  morning? Well, I did and what I found out was really amusing!

These days: I’m enjoying  my much awaited holidays and what’s on my mind when I get up is to stop lazing around and complete pending tasks which includes getting up early! Wish me luck 😛

The coaching days:  When the alarm rings, “oh..Just two more minutes..”

And when I get up after those two minutes, “oh god..gotta reach on time!”

On these days when I sleep late and get up early, you can see me whirling around trying to do tasks in a jiffy and then finally spinning out like a whirlwind!

Typing  this, I recalled an amusing incident I’d love to share with you :

So on one of these particular days, I was really tired and contrary to the times I force myself to get up,I gave in to my heart’s desire to sleep. But as luck would have it, a friend called on a few minutes later and of course the ringing phone and all the talking left me wide awake!

The finale: I was in class on time.

I shunned the incident as a coincidence, but the next time I was just about to bunk the class again and sleep, this friend of mine again called. Ok,I couldn’t help but specifically ask: “How come you call every time I’m trying to catch on some sleep?! How can some one have such good intuition?”

Lol…but It came out that it all he wanted was to remind me to bring some class notes. Hence proved- it was just a coincidence which happened twice 😛

I guess it was in my luck to have full attendance in that class!

Ok,enough of that smiling, Let’s carry on.

The exam days: when I  sleep,  the topics I have to cover the next day stay on my mind and therefore I  get up with the same tension, hurrying to get to my books ASAP. OH GOD..loads to do!  😛

Days after exams: Now it’s a relief -big time. Hangover continues up to a day- BUT I’m usually very delighted when I get up and totally enjoy the freedom to do everything I want-from cooking some delicacy in breakfast for myself  to watching TV, tension free !

But it isn’t like that always,I remember when I was  in sixth standard, I got up in the middle of the night   after a scary dream that I had forgotten to prepare for the exam next day! I actually checked the date sheet to satisfy myself that the exams were over and it was just a dream 😛

I can’t help smiling when I think of these myriad thoughts that I experience on various bright sunny mornings. Some of those mornings were actually good, when I looked forward to enjoy the new day. But now it rarely happens that I get up and say, ‘Hail the new day!’

Yes, A WONDERFUL new day where I’m ready to live new adventures with new hopes, new opportunities, new people and practically aspire have a GOOD morning!

SO, I’m thinking of  getting up on a positive note  from tomorrow because what you think-you become.  How many are you with me?!

Regards

Hargun 🙂

Hey Hargun! As you put it, most of us don’t say the words ‘Good morning’ and mean them. It was a nice point. 🙂 From now on, I’ll change that.
Thanks for pointing out that we have so much in common. Yesterday, I just read those interviews and couldn’t read further. So I had no idea about you. This is great! 😀 And well, CA, ahem! That reminds me I should be running. All the best dearie 🙂

Lovely thoughts on the ‘Good morning’ syndrome. One simple way for a beautiful day is to get-up in the morning stretch as lazily as possible, take a deep breath and say a loud Good Morning to your self 🙂
